Why I do this.

For a very long time I did not know how to code. If I am honest, I still don't. Then large language models arrived, and they could take whatever language I spoke and turn it into something a machine would understand. Now there are AI agents built just for code, and I get to talk to one like a friend who happens to be an expert developer: awake at any hour, never pulls a face when I ask for a change or ask to undo it ten minutes later, and always ready with his own two cents.

I get help closer to home, too. My wife is a diva and an artist at heart and spent the better part of a decade in software development. When the AI and I are both stuck and neither of us can see a way through, I go to her. She settles it.

And my nieces, six and twelve, sit with me and type commands, and they tell me straight when something is not aesthetic. Their word, not mine.

I am lucky that I get to do what I love, give or take the few things all of us hate but have to do anyway. This is one of my ikigai. When I am working I lose track of time and space, and of myself somewhere along with them, and I never seem to get tired.

This is the part of my life I wanted to share. These tools made my days easier and I hope one of them does the same for yours. CodeI love how machines work, and how much lighter they can make a life. Code is the one language they understand, and we are lucky to have landed in the moment when agents turned up to do the translating.

BuildI am one hell of a lazy guy. I never understood why Bill Gates said he would hand a hard job to the laziest person in the room, and now I do. So here is to anything that buys back an hour or spares the effort, and leaves that time for whatever we would rather be doing.

SolveThat is the whole point. Closer to what we are after, with the least effort, the least stress and the least of our time gone. Everything I build is aiming at that.
